TMDL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
MEETING MINUTES FOR

January 5, 2000

Attendees:
Garner Reynolds, City of Modesto
Roger Bennett, City of Lathrop
Bob Murdoch, City of Stockton

1. TMDL Presentation for Lathrop City Council

Discussed upcoming presentation on January 18th to the
Lathrop City Council on the TMDL.  The objective of the
presentation will be to secure money in Lathrop’s
budget for next fiscal year.  Copies of overheads used
by Stockton for TMDL presentations were provided to
Roger Bennett for his use.  Bob Murdoch from Stockton
will attend to help answer any questions that may come
up.  Also, Mr. Bennett will contact Tom King of the
Regional Board to ask for his attendance.

 Action: Roger Bennett to contact Tom King.

2. Funding Committee

After some discussion, it was decided that the
Executive Committee would function as the Funding
Committee for the near future.  If it turns out to be
to heavy a workload, or if the Steering Committee does
not approve, a separate committee can be formed.

 Action: Discuss and get concurrence at the next
Steering Committee

3. Pollutant Trading Committee

Bob Murdoch and Garner Reynolds agreed to be part of
the committee.  Alice Tulloch agreed to chair the
committee during the last Steering Committee meeting.
The Executive Committee agreed that an informal first
meeting should be held following the next Steering
Committee meeting to get organized.  Also, a request
for volunteers should be made at the next Steering
Committee meeting.

 Action: Discuss and request volunteers at next
Steering Committee

4. Rough Cut Load Allocation

This will be the major topic at the next Steering
Committee meeting.  Copies of the report are to be
distributed to all stakeholders prior to the meeting.
Dr. Lee will be asked to make a presentation with
discussion to follow.

Action: Dr. Lee will be contact to verify the report
will be ready and will be asked to make a presentation.
