1. Provide direction to the legislative efforts. Review language. Gain letters of support. Next steps.
2. Draft budget for the next 1-3 years. Focus on Administrative items.
3. Identify stakeholders who should be involved. Determine package of material to send to them. Determine how follow up will occur.
4. Determine the job description of the facilitator and establish a committee to recruit and select a permanent person for the job.
5. Review the organizational structure. Determine whether we should start an outreach and funding committee. Nominate committee chairs including the chair of the Steering Committee.
6. Review agenda for May 19 Steering Committee meeting.
